BALTIMORE, Md. – Notre Dame volleyball is now 2-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference after defeating College of St. Elizabeth in straight sets, 3-0 (25-9, 25-17, 25-20).
Senior
Kayleigh Davis and sophomore
Alyssa Kerns paced the team in kills, with Daivs finishing the day with 10 and Kerns with eight. Kerns hit for an impressive .533.
The Gators had another dominate day from the service line, racking up 12 aces. Senior
Sara Few paced the team with seven in the match. Few also led the team with 21 assists.
Defensively, the team finished the match with two solo and eight assisted blocks. Kerns led the team with two solo blocks and two assists. NDMU also posted 41 digs, led by Davis and freshman
Ivanella Figueroa with nine apiece.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Notre Dame will face three opponents next week including two conference and one non-conference. They will first host Bryn Athyn on Wednesday.
