Soccer Moves to 2-1 in CSAC With Win Over Wilson

BALTIMORE, Md. – Notre Dame soccer advances to 2-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference after posting a 1-0 decision over the Wilson College Phoenix.  In well fought game, the Gators came out on top and now sit in fourth in the CSAC.

In the competitive game against the Phoenix, both teams saw several opportunities to score, but NDMU capitalized in the first half on a foul call on Wilson.

In just under the 30-minute mark, senior Hannah Woodworth served up a ball off a free kick to the box and was headed into the goal by senior Colette Pierce.   Pierce continues to lead the team in goals this season, posting her eighth in today's game.  Woodworth tallied her first assist of the season.
