WEEK AHEAD: CSAC Playoffs

BALTIMORE, Md. – For the first time in school history, Notre Dame will have two teams hosting the Colonial States Athletic Conference playoffs this week.  The NDMU soccer team last week clinched the number four seed, while volleyball program finished the regular season first.
 
For the first time in program history, the NDMU soccer program is in the CSAC postseason.  Last week, the Gators secured the fourth seed, finishing the regular season 5-4 in CSAC play.  This is also the most conference wins for the program since joining the conference in 2007. 
 
In the first round of the postseason, the Gators will face Rosemont College for their second meeting of the season.  Last week, the number five seeded Ravens narrowly defeated the Gators, 1-0 in the team's last regular season game.  The rematch is schedule for a 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, played on Alumnae Field.

For the second consecutive season, the NDMU volleyball program is headed to the CSAC playoffs ranked first in the pool of five teams.  The Gators secured first place on Saturday, finishing the regular season 8-1 in CSAC play.  Notre Dame is also 23-3 overall this season, their third consecutive season posting 20 or more wins.
 
The Gators' first place finish also secures home court advantage throughout the playoffs.  On Thursday, November 7, they will host the second round against the victor of the first round between Bryn Athyn College and Keystone.  The match will be played in MBK Sports Complex at 7:00 p.m.
