ROSEMONT, Pa. – In the final week of fall Colonial States Athletic Conference weekly recognitions, the Gators scored two final honors.
Sophomore
Alyssa Kerns and freshman
Ivanella Figueroa earned CSAC Weekly Honor Roll status after the team posted a 3-0 week, earning the first seed in the CSAC.
Kerns lead the Gators in kills, while also posting a .481 hitting percentage over nine sets. Defensively, she also led the team in blocks with five, including three solos and two assisted blocks. This is Kerns fifth weekly honor this season and third honor roll recognition. She currently second in the CSAC in hitting percentage and six in kills.
Figueroa earned her sixth weekly honor this week, also being named to the Honor Roll. This was her four honor roll recognition this season. Playing in two of the team's three matches this week, Figueroa led the team, averaging 2.83 digs per set. She finished the week with 17 digs and 18 aces. She moves into fourth in the CSAC for aces per set and is third in digs.
Notre Dame volleyball hosts the second round of the CSAC Playoffs on Thursday, November 7 at 7:00 p.m. They will face either Keystone College or Bryn Athyn who play on Tuesday in the CSAC Quarterfinals.
