BALTIMORE, Md. – The Notre Dame soccer team saw a tough ending to their 2019 season today as they hosted Rosemont College in the first round of the Colonial States Athletic Conference playoffs. In their rematch from last week, the Gators struck early, but a late goal by the Ravens pushed them on top, 3-2.

Kayla Grube notched her fourth of the season off a penalty kick in just over the four-minute mark.
Less than six-minutes later Rosemont even the score up at one apiece under the 10-minute mark.
NDMU kept up the pressure, retaking the lead in the 16

Adrianna Fletcher and quick headed pass from sophomore
Julie Hagis.
To close out the first half, the Gators posted two more shots, but could not land one. The went into the half with a 2-1 lead.
The second half was a battle for both Notre Dame and Rosemont. Both teams had several good looks at the goal, but after a missed penalty kick by the Ravens, they evened up the score at two apiece in the 56
th minute.
With less than 10 minutes left to play, Rosemont posted the game-winning-goal in the 83
rd minute.

The Gators fell to the Ravens, 3-2 ending their playoff run short. Notre Dame soccer had a outstanding season finishing the year 9-8 overall and 5-4 in the CSAC. This year was the first trip to the post season in the CSAC-era for the soccer program. They also finished the season with the most conference wins in program history and most wins since 2015.
