MORRISTOWN, Nj. – The Notre Dame basketball team traveled to New Jersey on Wednesday night to face the #2 team in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, College of St. Elizabeth. Unfortunately, the Gators did not end with an upset they were hoping for over the Eagles and lost the game 68-82.
In spite of the loss, a total of four players had double-digit points. Freshman
Ariana Alleyne posted a total of 22 points and three steals. She had 100 % free throw shooting, going eight-for-eight. Freshman
Jaylah Lewis also posted a solid 11 points and four assists.
Sophomore
Daija Fitchett earned another double-double ending with 10 total points and 14 rebounds. Freshman
Ayana Brim earned 15 points being the second leading scorer for the Gators.
The Gators are now 15-7 overall and 11-4 in the CSAC.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Gators host on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. for the second week in a row, only this time they will play Bryn Athyn. With only three regular season games left in the Gators have clinched a final four spot in the CSAC. Playoff week will begin on Monday, February 24th,
