BALTIMORE, Md. – The Notre Dame Gators hosted the Keystone Giants in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match up Wednesday night. An exciting game from the start had the fans at the edge of their seats all the way up until the final second. At the half the Gators were up by five and kept their lead throughout most of the second half. With 24 seconds remaining in the game the Gators, up by two, fouled putting the Giants on the line shooting two and making both. This tied up the game and with the next possession the Gators were fouled with three seconds left shooting two from the line. Freshman
Ariana Alleyne stepped up to the line with confidence. Missing the first one gave her a new perspective and she made the next solidifying the win for the Gators, 71-70.
In the upset victory over the Giants, who were undefeated in conference play until today, Alleyne was the leading scorer of the game posting 15 points. She also posted four steals, four assists, and shot five-for-seven from the line. Sophomore
Daija Fitchett and junior
Adrianna Fletcher were not far behind in points with both tallying 14. Fitchett also posted a double-double with 11 rebounds. Junior
Keyeria Dawson and freshman
Ayana Brim also received double-digit scoring with 12 apiece

This incredible team victory advances the Gators to 17-7 overall and 13-4 in the CSAC.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Gators will play their final regular season game against Centenary away at 1:00 p.m. They look to participate in playoffs next week with game time and location to be determined.
