ROSEMONT, Pa. – In the first week of competition, the Gators have secured their first two Colonial States Athletic Conference weekly honors for the 2020 Spring season.
LACROSSE
Freshman
Sara Morales received her very first CSAC Player of the Week nomination for the lacrosse 2020 season. NDMU also had junior
Marie Salas named as the CSAC Defensive Player of the Week. The Gators went 1-1 this week with a solid 19-7 victory over Lancaster Bible.
In their first game of the season Morales scored seven goals and earned 14 of the 20 recorded draw controls. She also finished scoring the game winning goal against Lancaster Bible. This past week, Morales scored 12 total goals and recorded three assists.
Salas earned her Defensive Player of the Week honor for her saves, which totaled 19 for the week. She had five saves in the win over Lancaster Bible.
The Gators will continue their series of home regular season games this week with a game against Goucher College Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. They will play Eastern Mennonite at 1:00 p.m. this upcoming Saturday. Saturday at 12:30, the 2019 lacrosse team will be honored in a Ring Ceremony for their CSAC Championship.

SOFTBALL
The Gators will host their first double-header games of the 2020 Spring Season against John Jay College this Saturday with the first game starting at 1:00 p.m. They will then play a second game at 3:00 p.m. The location of all home games will be CCBC Dundalk.
