BALTIMORE, Md. – The Notre Dame of Maryland University Department of Athletics announces the addition of Jon Esposito to the Gator coaching staff as the Head Field Hockey Coach.
Esposito comes to Notre Dame with over 35 years of coaching experience at both the high school and club levels and currently serves as the Club Director and Coach at the Chaos Field Hockey Club. Prior to his position at the Chaos Field Hockey Club, Esposito served as the Head Coach at Harford Tech High School and as a Coach at North Annapolis Sports Organization prior to that.
"We are excited to have Jon join our athletics staff," said Director of Athletics, Dr. Ashley Hodges. "His passion for the sport, and developing himself and the women in the field hockey program made him the right choice."
The Notre Dame field hockey team will return to play this fall, for the first time since 2019, with a season opener that is slated for Wednesday, September 1
st at McDaniel College at 5:30 pm.
