BALTIMORE – Paulina Hernandez's performance over the past week has earned the sophomore CSAC Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the league on Monday. Notre Dame (Md.) volleyball craved two impressive wins behind Hernandez's strong showing on both ends for the Gators. After scoring 13 kills and 18 digs in front of the Gators home crowd in NDMU's 3-1 win over Penn State York, Hernandez's stout defensive returns helped Notre Dame (Md.) to a five-set 3-2 win against Gwynedd Mercy. She had 26 digs in the win.
Kayla Grube makes her second appearance on the CSAC Weekly Honor Roll after her two-goal performance in Notre Dame's 4-0 win in its conference opener against Saint Elizabeth University. Grube last made the Honor Roll on Sept. 9. Grube scored her first goal on a one-touch left-footed shot after a long pass from Roselynn Kamara. Her second goal came when she broke free on a pass from Sara Morales at the midfield to put the Gators up 3-0.

Grube and the Gators will dig a bit deeper into CSAC play when they visit the University of Valley Forge on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 4:30 p.m. The Gators will head up to Pennsylvania to play Clarks Summit University on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 1:00 p.m.
Notre Dame (Md.) volleyball will host Catholic University on Wednesday, September 29 at 7 p.m. at MBK Sports Complex. The Gators will begin CSAC play on Thursday, September 30 at 7 p.m. Notre Dame will host a Tri-Match on Saturday against conference opponent Saint Elizabeth University at 2 p.m. and Penn State Harrisburg at 4 p.m. Watch on the Gators Network and follow live stats at Notredamegators.com.
