Box Score WHIPPANY, N.J. – Mackenzie Lookingland scored the game's only goal through a 72nd minute penalty kick, and Makaylah Reyes made 10 saves to secure a 1-0 victory for Notre Dame of Maryland University soccer over Saint Elizabeth on Saturday.

Lookingland's goal was her second of the season, while Reyes registered her first collegiate shutout for the Gators (3-3-0, 2-1-0 CSAC), who moved back over .500 in Colonial States Athletic Conference play. As a team, NDMU has posted two shutouts in its first three conference games.

Sara Morales nearly gave the Gators the lead in the 25th minute when she fired a shot off the crossbar. Reyes made six of her saves in the opening half to keep the game scoreless at the intermission.

Reyes then added four more saves prior to Lookingland's game-winner with 18:32 remaining in regulation. Lookingland's other goal this fall came during NDMU's 8-0 win over Valley Forge in last weekend's CSAC opener.

Morales and Shyan Chenoweth each recorded a pair of shots for the Gator offense. Saint Elizabeth (2-6-1, 0-2-1 CSAC) finished with a 15-7 edge in shots.

NDMU is back on the road next weekend, traveling to Cairn for a CSAC matchup beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
