BALTIMORE – Morgan Wineburg scored the game's only goal 57 seconds into the second half for Wilson College, sending Notre Dame of Maryland University to a home 1-0 defeat on Wednesday and allowing the visitors to remain unbeaten in Colonial States Athletic Conference play.

Makaylah Reyes made seven saves in goal for the Gators (3-5-0, 2-3-0 CSAC), who battled throughout against a Wilson squad which is now 6-0-1 in its last seven contests. Wineburg's goal was her second of the season for the Phoenix (7-3-2, 4-0-1 CSAC).

All seven of Reyes' stops came in the second half to keep the Gators within striking distance down to the final whistle. Sara Morales had the lone shot attempt for NDMU in the 66th minute.

The Gators remain at Alumnae Field for their next two games, beginning with a 1 p.m. CSAC matchup against Clarks Summit on Saturday.
