BALTIMORE – Mackenzie Lookingland and Sara Morales both totaled a goal and an assist, but a big offensive second half from Clarks Summit sent Notre Dame of Maryland University soccer to an 8-2 defeat at Alumnae Field on Saturday.

The Defenders scored seven times after the intermission to break open what had been a 1-0 contest after 45 minutes. Naomi Sadowitz recorded a hat trick to lead the offensive attack for the visitors.

Lookingland's goal, her second of the season, was set up by Morales in the 56th minute. Lookingland then returned the favor with 7:32 remaining in regulation, finding Morales in the box for NDMU's second goal of the afternoon.

Morales now leads the team with 15 points (7 G, 1 A) on the year. She had four of the Gators' seven shot attempts in the defeat.

NDMU looks to get back on track this Wednesday, hosting Trinity Washington in a non-conference matchup beginning at 4 p.m.
