BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – Notre Dame of Maryland University volleyball's winning streak reached double digits on Saturday, as the Gators posted a dominant 3-0 sweep at Bryn Athyn to remain unbeaten in Colonial States Athletic Conference play. Set scores were 25-13, 25-7, 25-18.
NDMU (12-6, 5-0 CSAC) had all 25 aces in the contest, led by five apiece from
Ciarra Bockstie,
Emma Mueller and
Natalie Newton. Mueller also had a team-high eight digs, while Newton led the way with 10 assists.
Offensively,
Rosemary O'Brien contributed six kills with a .625 attack percentage, and
Erin Shaw totaled five kills with a .571 attack percentage. Other Gators with multiple aces included
Jade Stewart (4),
Candace Forgach-Aguilar (2),
Paulina Hernandez (2) and
Mackenzie Snodgrass (2).
NDMU has now posted eight sweeps during its current 10-match winning streak, and it remains the only CSAC team without a conference defeat.
The Gators are back at MBK Sports Complex on Wednesday, hosting Wilson in a CSAC matchup beginning at 7 p.m.
