Notre Dame of Maryland University and the NDMU Athletic Department are pleased to announce Seth Goodyear has been hired as the Athletic Communications Director. Goodyear will oversee all aspects of the athletic communications office including the university's athletic website and the athletic social media pages. 

Goodyear joins the Gators Athletic Department after serving as the Athletic Communications Director at Lancaster Bible College from August 2021 to June 2022. Goodyear oversaw 20 athletic teams at Lancaster Bible College and also served as an assistant softball coach. Prior to his time at Lancaster Bible, Goodyear worked as the Sports Information Director at Franciscan University from March 2020 until August 2021, helping to guide the athletic department through the COVID Pandemic. 

"I am looking forward to making an impact here at Notre Dame (Md.)," Goodyear said. "The athletic department has a great culture and an awesome group of diverse student-athletes, which are extremely important elements to be successful program. I really enjoy the energy buzzing through the campus about the athletic programs, and I can't wait to help grow that even further."

Director of Athletics and Wellness, Dr. Ashley Hodges said the department was excited to have Goodyear to the join the athletic department. 

"Seth brings a great energy to the position," Hodges said. "He is clearly passionate about what he does, and with his skill set and experiences, he will be great asset to our program."
