BALTIMORE, MD – The Notre Dame of Maryland University Track team competed at Goucher's Inter-Conference Meet on Friday with Laura Longeway snagging away the program 800 meter record finish with a (2:59.83) split. She also ran (6:24.92) in the 1500 meters, breaking the previous record by more than five minutes.  

Meet Highlights

Longeway came in just four spots behind PSU Harrisburg's Tatyana Gibson (2:32.28) who won the race. Holly Hand finished the 800 meter race with the program's fourth fastest finish (3:06.89). She crossed the finish line placing seventh in the race. 

In the 1500 meters race, Longeway rounded out the eveling amongst the top runners on the day with a (6:24.92) time for a seventh place finish.
