CSAC Announces 2022 Track & Field Preseason Coaches’ Poll

BALTIMORE, MD – The Notre Dame of Maryland University Track and Field team was selected sixth overall in the Colonial States Athletics Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll as announced on Wednesday afternoon by the league office. Last season, the Gators placed fifth at the CSAC Championship meet, while Taylor Epps placed gold in the 100 meters. The Gators are off to a impressive start after Laura Longeway broke the program 800 meter (2:59.83)  and 1500 meter (6:24.92) times at Goucher's Inter-Conference Meet (3/25).
 
Alfred State College was ranked at the top of the poll with 36 points and all six of the first-place votes. Receiving 28 points, Penn State-Behrend sits in second place while Cedar Crest College placed third with 22 points.  
 
Gallaudet University placed fourth with 21 points and Keystone College placed fifth with 12 points.
