Alascia, Morales Record Hat Tricks, Soccer Routs Valley Forge in CSAC Opener

BALTIMORE – Emma Alascia and Sara Morales scored three goals apiece, while Averee Radonovich and Mackenzie Lookingland added solo strikes for Notre Dame of Maryland University in a dominant 8-0 victory over Valley Forge on Saturday afternoon.

April Boss, making her first start of the season in goal, posted a clean sheet without needing to make a save as the Gators (2-2, 1-0 CSAC) comfortable won their conference opener. Anna Choudhary and Delilah Litz added a pair of assists, while Alascia finished with four points overall after assisting on Lookingland's first collegiate goal in the 82nd minute.

Choudhary set up Alascia for the game's first goal with just under 10 minutes remaining in the opening half, and Morales doubled the advantage with an unassisted strike in the 43rd minute.

Four goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half broke open the game, with Morales (2), Alascia and Radonovich all scoring during that stretch.

Alascia finished with a career-high seven points while recording her first collegiate hat trick. Morales' hat trick was her second this season, as she also scored three in NDMU's season-opener against Gallaudet, and third overall as a Gator.

NDMU hits the road for its next contest, traveling to Rosemont for a CSAC matchup beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday night.
