ROSEMONT, Pa. – Notre Dame of Maryland University soccer continued Colonial States Athletic Conference play with a 3-0 defeat at Rosemont College on Wednesday.
Dani DiMarco scored the game-winning goal 40 minutes into the contest for the Ravens (2-2-2, 1-0-0 CSAC), while Sarah Warner added two insurance strikes in the second half.
The Gators (2-3-0, 1-1-0 CSAC) forced six saves out of Rosemont goalkeeper Marissa Lotierzo.
Sara Morales led the offense with four shots on goal, while
Cesia Diaz and
Mackenzie Lookingland also had attempts on target.
April Boss finished with 11 saves, the second most in a game for NDMU this season, while making her second start in goal.
The Gators remain on the road for their matchup, as they face Saint Elizabeth University in a neutral site contest at Red Bull Training Facility in New Jersey this weekend. Opening kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
