HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gators (1-7 Overall) scored just 10 seconds into the game after Stewart won the draw and raced down the field for a goal. Stewart added a second goal moments later, this time finishing a shot off a great pass from Sarah Generoso. Alascia recorded her first goal of the game, off a pass from Stewart. Generoso made the score 4-0, capitalizing on a free position opportunity. Alascia recorded the next two goals, extending NDMU's lead to six with just over a minute remaining in the opening quarter. Stewart and Averee Radonovich each recorded a goal in the final seconds of the quarter, giving the Gators an 8-0 lead heading to the second quarter.

Dargakis got the offense rolling in the second quarter, taking a pass from Stewart and scoring her first career goal. Stewart and Alascia added another goal each, stretching NDMU's lead to 11 early in the second quarter.
