BALTIMORE– The Notre Dame of Maryland women's soccer team fell in their nonconference matchup against Neumann University by a score of 5-0 on Thursday, Sept. 28.
The Gators (3-3 Overall, 1-0 United East) faced immediate pressure with the Knights (3-4-1 Overall, 0-0 Atlantic East) firing 17 first half shots. Makaylah Reyes made five first half saves, helping to slow Neumann's attack. The Knights scored in the 27th and 34th minutes to build a 2-0 first lead.
Neumann continued to expand upon their lead, netting goals in the 58th, 59th and 73rd minutes to build a 5-0 lead. The Gators best scoring chance came in the 69th when Mackenzie Lookingland took a shot off a free kick that just missed the far post.

The Gators will return to United East play when they host Bryn Athyn College on Saturday, Sept. 30. The kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
