Chambersburg- On November 26, 2024 Notre Dame of Maryland Women's Basketball team fell short in a regular season matchup against Wilson College of Chambersburg PA, 61-51.
During the game:
● The Notre Dame Gators started off the game slow and steady managing 6 points in the first half. One of them was a steal from Allison Holman (Guard) with an assist from Elena Rodriguez (Guard). Wilson College scored 11 points in the first quarter
● Wilson took the lead in the second quarter with 6 points ahead of the Gators, until shooting fouls were awarded to Bethany Newbold and Amya Durham bringing the score 23 - 28 at half.
● Second half the Gators shot 13 points, one being an assist to Allison Holman from Madison Simmons followed by a steal by Madison Holman. With Wilson College still 11 points ahead in the 3rd quarter, Notre Dame came back with another steal followed by a foul giving them 2 free throws.
● The Phoenix largest lead of the game was the 4th quarter with 12 points.
