Latham, N.Y.– The United East announced its 2024 Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Major Award Winners and All-Conference Teams on Wednesday, May 8 with NDMU have four players earn all-conference honors. Sarah Generoso was named to the All-Conference First Team while Emma Alascia, Averee Radonovich and Jade Stewart collected All-Conference Second Team honors.
Generoso earned her spot on the All-Conference team by impacting both ends of the field as a midfielder. She scored 11 goals this season and dished four assists. Generoso won 53 draw controls while collecting 44 ground balls. Generoso also forced 21 turnovers.
Alascia also had an outstanding year in the midfield, creating space for herself and her teammates. She found the back of the net 17 times while dishing out six assists. Alascia collected a team-high 45 ground balls, reaching 100 career ground balls. In addition, Alascia won 34 draw controls and forced 17 turnovers.
Radonovich was once again one of the team's top defenders, helping to set the Gators defense and by taking on her opponents' best scorers. She collected 20 ground balls and forced 12 turnovers this season.
Stewart earned her place on the All-Conference team by being one of the best scorers in the league. Stewart scored 27 goals, handed out 14 assists, finishing with 41 points. Stewart scored her 100th career goal in the Gators win over Waynesburg University. Stewart won a team high 56 draw controls and collected 20 ground balls.
