Galloway, NJ- The Notre Dame of Maryland Men's Soccer Team dropped a road match up with Stockton University, falling to the Ospreys by a score of 3-0 on Saturday, Sept. 7.
The Gators were on the defense early in the first only creating one shot by
Peer Ewerbeck in the first 25 minutes of action. The Ospreys struck first scoring in the 30
th minute to take a 1-0 lead. NDMU tried to answer back with
Tassilo Lehmkuhl and
Johannes Karlsen each launching shots, but neither attempt was on frame.
A miscommunication early in the second half by the NDMU defense allowed Stockton to score a second goal. In the 59 minute the Ospreys scored again taking a commanding 3-0 lead. The Gators tried to swing momentum back in their favor, earning a pair of corner kicks in the 63
rd minute resulting in a shot by
Myles Tanksley, but NDMU could not find a goal. Stockton held on for the 3-0 victory.

The Gators will remain on the road, traveling to face Immaculata University on Wednesday, Sept. 11. The kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
