Allentown, PA - The Notre Dame of Maryland volleyball team picked up a key United East Conference win on Saturday afternoon, defeating Cedar Crest 3–1 (25–15, 25–17, 23–25, 25–13) inside Lees Gymnasium.

Alyson Lackovic led the Gators (10–5, 2–2 UEC) with a standout all-around performance, recording 10 kills, 23 assists, eight aces, and 20 digs while hitting .421. Kaliyah Brown added 10 kills, 19 digs, and a block for 12 points, while Myla Palmer contributed 12 kills and two aces. Rosemary O'Brien chipped in seven kills, and setter Shelbey Willson handed out 16 assists with nine digs and three aces.

The Gators came out strong, hitting .296 in the opening set and rolling to a 25–15 win behind Lackovic's serving and balanced offense. Notre Dame kept the momentum in set two, using a 7–1 run late in the frame to close out a 25–17 victory.

Cedar Crest (3–18, 2–3 UEC) responded in a tight third set, edging the Gators 25–23 behind strong play from Samantha Fitzpatrick and Kayla Duenkel. But Notre Dame quickly regrouped, dominating the fourth set 25–13 thanks to a barrage of aces from Izzy Stewart and Willson to seal the match.

Notre Dame totaled 46 kills and 21 aces as a team, holding Cedar Crest to a .038 attack percentage and just 22 kills on the day.

The Gators return home next week to face conference foe Penn State Berks on Tuesday, October 14 at 7 PM in Reading, PA.
