NDM Sweeps Keystone on Senior Day

Baltimore, MD - The Notre Dame of Maryland volleyball team put on a dominant performance Saturday evening, sweeping Keystone in straight sets (25–10, 25–18, 25–5) at the Marion Burt Knott Sports Complex. The win pushed the Gators to 14–6 overall and 5–3 in United East play, keeping them firmly in the hunt for a top postseason seeding. The Gators also celebrated senior day as the duo of Elora Taala and Rosemary O'Brien were honored in a pregame ceremony.

Sophomore standout Kaliyah Brown led the way with a match-high 12 kills, hitting an impressive .579 while adding four service aces and eight digs for a 16.5-point outing. Myla Palmer followed with seven kills and steady offense, while Alyson Lackovic and Gwen Abnett each chipped in five kills apiece. Lackovic also added 12 assists, one ace, and two blocks in an all-around effort.

Setter Shelbey Willson directed the attack efficiently, dishing out 19 assists and serving up five aces, while Elora Taala provided additional firepower with four kills and two blocks. Defensively, libero Izzy Stewart anchored the back row with 10 digs, as Notre Dame held Keystone to a negative hitting percentage (-.092) on the night.
