Gators Dominate Rosemont 3-0

BRYN MAWR, PA – Notre Dame of Maryland won their penultimate regular season match in commanding fashion Tuesday night, sweeping Rosemont 3–0 (25–3, 25–5, 25–3) at the Hirsh Community Center. The Gators improved to 15–6 overall and 6–3 in United East play, while the Ravens fell to 0–17 (0–10 United East) in a match that was the last for Rosemont as they will shut down their athletic department after this season.

Notre Dame dominated from start to finish, hitting an impressive .405 as a team while holding Rosemont to a negative attack percentage. The Gators piled up 30 service aces and 19 assists, keeping the pressure on throughout the match.

Setter Alyson Lackovic led the way with 11 assists and 15 service aces, accounting for a match-high 16 total points. Kaliyah Brown added four kills on .600 hitting, while Elora Taala and Myla Palmer each chipped in three kills apiece. Izzy Stewart and Morgan Perzan combined for seven aces and six digs, and Carissa Tanseco added three aces and six digs of her own.

The Gators' defense held Rosemont to just two total kills across three sets, forcing 10 attack errors and allowing no lead changes or ties all night.

Notre Dame will look to conclude the regular season on a high note as they finish out their schedule on Saturday, November 1 at 3 PM when Cairn University comes to town.
