SELINSGROVE, PA — Notre Dame of Maryland showed several strong stretches but couldn't keep pace late in a 107–80 loss to York College on Friday night at O.W. Houts Gymnasium. This was game one of a four-team invitational tournament hosted by Susquehanna University.
The Gators (0–3) opened sharply, using a 10–4 run sparked by
Ricardo Ross to settle in early. Ross led NDMU with 24 points, attacking consistently and adding five rebounds and five assists.
Marlon Lewis scored 17 points, including two key baskets during a 9–2 first-half surge that kept the game within reach.
Notre Dame's bench delivered another lift, with
Chandler Johnson,
Azaan Sheikh, and
Jaiden Gibson fueling an 11-point burst that helped the Gators stay close at halftime, trailing 52–44.
Jahbreco Dacosta anchored the interior with 11 rebounds, helping NDMU generate 32 points in the paint and 16 points off turnovers.
Despite the early momentum and 45 bench points, the Gators couldn't match York's second-half perimeter stretch, and the deficit widened over the final 10 minutes.
NDM will continue their run through the invitational when they take on host Susquehanna on Saturday, November 15.
