BALTIMORE, Md. – Lancaster Bible got 23 points from Camden Hurst as the Chargers (17-7, 12-3 United East) defeated the Notre Dame of Maryland University men's basketball team (12-12, 9-6 United East) 90-84 on Thursday night.
The Gators put four players in double figures as
Ahmad Harrison scoring a team-high 21 points with
Chandler Johnson netting 18.
Jahbreco Dacosta added in 12 and
Jackson Pugh scoring ten. Dacosta had 12 rebounds while Harrison had four assists.
The Gators broke open the game early, going on a short 8-1 run to take a 19-10 lead with 13:31 left on a jumper by
Ahmad Harrison.
Leading 27-20, the Gators saw the Chargers go on a 11-2 run to take a 31-29 lead on a layup by Reaves Hooks with 3:18 left. Hooks and Connor Storr had baskets in the final minute to give LBC a 38-34 lead at the break.
Notre Dame grabbed the lead back at 43-42 on a layup by Dacosta with 15:51 left and took a 48-45 lead at 13:47 left on a layup by Harrison.
Lancaster Bible took the lead for good at 77-76 with 2:22 left as Grant Sareyka layup.
Notre Dame will host Penn College on Saturday.
