BALTIMORE, Md. – Notre Dame of Maryland's
Ahmad Harrison scored a team-high 29 points, including the game-winning basket with five seconds left in overtime, as the Gators (13-12, 10-6 United East) defeated Penn College (8-17, 6-10 United East) 89-88 in men's basketball play Saturday.
Harrison also scooped up ten rebounds as the Gators withstood a second-half rally by the Wildcats. NDMU led by as much as 14 in the second half.
Anthony Wright scored 16 points with
Jahbreco Dacosta grabbing 19 rebounds for NDMU, who will await Saturday's results before finding out its opponent in the upcoming playoffs.
Jackson Pugh filled up the stat sheet, scoring 11 points, dishing out eight assists and grabbing four steals.
Penn College – who led by six with 4:24 left in regulation, got 35 points and 18 rebounds from Livingston Cross. Gavin Barrett had 17 points while Donnie Bass Briscoe scored 11.
