BALTIMORE, MD – The Notre Dame of Maryland Gators women's soccer team enters 2025 eager to turn last season's hard lessons into momentum as head coach Nathan Rauscher enters his third season at the helm of the program.

After finishing 2–11–1 (1–6–1 United East) in 2024, the Gators return their top three goal scorers, Malaika Habib, Kathryn DeGrange, and Jillian Seay, while standout goalkeeper Leah Hasberry returns after piling up 199 saves with a .768 save percentage despite relentless pressure.

This year's journey begins on the road, with an opener at Bryn Mawr on August 31 followed by tough non-conference tests at Widener on September 3 and Susquehanna September 10. The home opener for the Gators kicks off September 6 against Goucher, a regional rival and an early measuring stick for Notre Dame's progress.

Conference play looms later in September, when the Gators host Juniata on September 17 and Penn State-Altoona on September 24 in back-to-back home contests. Matchups against Penn State-Abington on September 27 and Penn State-Harrisburg on October 1 will provide critical opportunities to climb the United East standings. The Gators close out their regular season schedule on October 25 when they host Penn State-Brandywine.

With a talented freshman class of nine student-athletes joining the returning veterans that includes 10 juniors, the current team and future looks brighter for the Gators.
