BALTIMORE, MD — The Notre Dame of Maryland women's basketball team turned in a dominant defensive performance Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 63–22 United East victory over Penn State Berks at the MBK Athletic Complex. The victory marks the 100th career win for head coach Kalin Wynn as his team went wire-to-wire in the game, shutting down the Nittany Lions.

The Gators jumped out to an early advantage, holding Penn State Berks to just four points in the opening quarter while building a commanding 24–4 lead. Notre Dame's pressure defense forced turnovers and limited the visitors to 20.4 percent shooting for the game, setting the tone for a wire-to-wire win.

Amani Watts added 10 points and six rebounds, while Regina Sabirova chipped in seven points, including a pair of key baskets in transition.
