WESTMINSTER, MD - The Notre Dame of Maryland baseball team dropped both games of a non-conference doubleheader at McDaniel College on Sunday afternoon, falling 16–0 in game one and 13–2 in game two.

Game 1 : McDaniel 16 - Notre Dame of Maryland 0

McDaniel opened up the scoring in the first inning with an RBI double to get an early 1-0 advantage. The Green Terror broke things open in the second inning, by scoring seven runs to extend their advantage to 8-0.

The Green Terror added three more runs in the fourth inning, one run in the fifth inning, and four runs in the sixth inning to pull away 16-0.

The Gators managed just three hits—all singles from freshman shortstop Chase Cichocki, who went 3-for-3 in the leadoff spot.

Hunter Beil ripped a double to left field to drive in the first run, and Tyler Holton followed with a sac fly to give the Gators a 2-1 lead.

McDaniel answered right back in the bottom of the fourth inning with multiple hits that accounted for nine runs scored to take a demanding 10-2 lead. The Green Terror padded their lead in the fifth inning from a solo home run by Ben Davis, and a two-RBI triple which was the finishing blow.

The Gators were led offensively by Cook and Parks who each contributed three hits. Ben Boyer added two hits and Beil added one hit and an RBI.
