LA PLUME, Pa. – The Notre Dame of Maryland University baseball team held its own in game one of a double header against defending champion Keystone on Sunday, before the Giants (10-7, 2-0 United East) swept the Gators (4-16, 1-3 United East).

In game one, Notre Dame led 2-1 after three innings as Zane Cook scored on a double play, followed by Ryan Parks scoring on an RBI single from Anthony Venable.

Keystone, however, would score in the next five innings to take a 14-4 win in the opener.

Joshua Boyd took the loss, falling to 1-3. He struck out two and walked one in 3.1 innings of work.

In game two, the Gators were limited to just four hits in a 10-0 loss.

Cichocki had two hits in the second game, with Parks and Ben Boyers also hitting safely.

Brendan Coulson took the loss, striking out two and walking three in three innings of work.
