FREDERICK, Md. – The Notre Dame of Maryland baseball team defeated Hood in another high-scoring affair, as the Gators (10-19) bounced the Blazers (15-17) 17-11 on Tuesday afternoon.
Nine of the Gators 17 runs, the most in a win since defeating Lancaster Bible 22-9 last season, came in the final two innings.
Ryan Parks went 4-for-5 with three runs scored and an RBI, while
AJ Williams was 3-for-6 with six RBI and just missed the cycle as he hit a single, double, and triple.
Chase Cichocki,
Ben Boyer, and
Logan Ward each had two hits in the win.
Zane Cook got the win in relief, throwing no-hit ball over the last 1.1 innings while allowing only one walk.
Notre Dame will head to Lancaster Bible on Wednesday.
