BALTIMORE – Seven home events on the campus of Notre Dame of Maryland, as well as the cross country team starting off the 2026 season this weekend, highlights a busy week in Gators athletics.
WOMEN'S SOCCER
Tuesday, Sept. 15th at 4 p.m. vs. Penn State Schuylkill at the Turf Field Sponsored by the SSNDs

The Gators women's soccer team looks to bounce back after a pair of losses at home this past week, dropping matches to future United East conference members Marymount and Immaculata.
The Gators' lone goal of the week came from
Alex Busick, who sent the ball past Immaculata's goalkeeper following a kerfuffle in the Mighty Macs penalty area.
Busick leads the Gators with two goals scored this season.
Penn State Schuylkill is 2-3 on the season, having won their past two games by a combined 16-0 scoreline after dropping their opening three games by being outscored 18-0.
Madison Warnack leads the Nittany Lions with six goal contributions while Kay Lee Morgan averages 7.4 saves per game between the sticks.
The Gators have won both all-time matchups against PSU Schuylkill, including a 4-0 win last season with saw goals scored by four different Gators –
Leah Acri,
Olivia Messercola,
Madyson Costello, and Busick.
Susquehanna wraps up the Gators' week at home, who enter this week with a 4-0 overall record, having out-scored opponents 12-2 to this point. The River Hawks own a 4-1 win over United East foe Penn State Harrisburg.
Amelia Kopp and Ava Billmeyer have recorded seven points each, and keeper Katie Henchy has made 12 saves in four matches.
Last season was the first-ever matchup between these two teams, with Susquehanna walking away with a 4-0 victory on their home field.
MEN'S SOCCER

The Gators men's soccer team is 1-1-1 on the season; last week, they recorded a 2-1 win over Carlow before dropping a 3-2 decision to Methodist.
Arnaud Gerin scored first for the Gators against Carlow before
Maxime Baux assisted Athanasios Ziliaskopolous for the second goal. The Celtics pulled a goal back in the 75
th minute but the Gators' defense held on for their first win of 2026.
Saturday's contest saw Methodist convert on a free kick as well as a pair of penalties to take a 3-0 lead.
Kim O'Sullivan and
Leon Awesso would score two goals in a 40-second span to make it 3-2 in the match's final minute; however, Methodist held on to give NDMU their first loss of the season.
The Gators' six goals this season have been scored by five different players, with Ziliaskopolous being the only Gator to score twice.
Stockton is still looking for their first win of the season as they enter the week with a 0-3-2 record. Four of their five matches this season have been decided by a one goal or less margin.
Cooper Adinolfi has scored three of the Ospreys' four goals this season. The Ospreys have won both matches in this series, winning 3-0 in 2024 and 2-1 last season.
Stevenson wraps up the Gators' weekend on Saturday afternoon as they enter the week with a 2-1-1 overall record. Their competition this season has included conference member Gallaudet, whom the Mustangs defeated 13-0, and will see them face United East team PSU Brandywine on Tuesday.
Jaxon Blanco leads the team with four goals while Nico Paz has four assists; Andrew Sindicic has nine saves on the season and a pair of shutouts.
This is the first-ever matchup between the Gators and Stevenson.
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. vs. Penn State York in the MBK Sports Complex
Saturday, Sept. 19 at 3:30 p.m. vs. Saint Francis in the MBK Sports Complex (DH)
The Gators women's volleyball team is 2-4 on the season follow a 1-2 week in which they fell to McDaniel before defeating Lackawanna at the Messiah Tri-Match. Messiah then defeated NDMU in their final game of the weekend.
Bryanna Carter paced the Gators' offense with 39 kills on a .224 attack percentage, while libero
Izzy Stewart averaged four digs per set.
Kaliyah Brown leads the team with 3.21 kills this season, while
Oliviya Rodriguez averages 5.98 assists per set and Elena Augnst leads the squad with 0.87 aces per set.
Penn State York enters the week with an 11-0 overall record and hit .267 with five aces and 14.48 digs per set. Gracie Reinhart leads the team with three kills per set on a .338 attack percentage. Simam Imamovic leads the team with 1.39 blocks per set while Reinhart and Joan Olson pace the squad with 2.77 digs per set.
The Gators are 2-4 all-time versus Penn State York, with both wins coming inside the MBK Sports Complex.
Saint Francis plays the Gators twice on Saturday to close out the weekend. The Red Storm enter the week with a 4-2 overall record and have a win over United East institution Wilson College.
SFU hits .149 as a team, and their offense is led by Madison Roman's 3.55 kills per set and Ava Holden's .329 attack percentage. They hold their opponents to a .078 hitting percentage.
As the Red Storm are transitioning from Division I to Division III, this marks the first-ever matchup between them and the Gators.
CROSS COUNTRY
Saturday, Sept. 19 at 9 a.m. at the Abington Invitational
For the first time in 2026, the NDMU Cross Country teams are in action as they run at the Abington Invitational this Saturday morning.
Both the men's and women's cross country teams were picked to finish ninth in the United East Cross Country Preseason Poll.
Sanai Helms led the Gators at this meet last season, finishing 32
nd overall with a time of 34:30.
