WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Notre Dame of Maryland men's soccer team picked up their second win of the season and first in conference play in emphatic fashion as they won 8-0 over Gallaudet this afternoon in the nation's capital.
On the match, NDMU recorded 40 shots, 26 of which came on target while also taking a dozen corner kicks.
The win is the third-biggest margin of victory in program history.
The Gators opened the scoring in the seventh minute as
Kim O'Sullivan found
Nadim Ismaeel.
Athanasios Ziliaskopolous then scored three goals in a 16-minut stretch, with
Tassilo Lehmkuhl assisting the first goal before Lehmkuhl and Ismaeel assisted Ziliaskopolous for the third goal.
Ziliaskopolous becomes the second player in program history to record a hat trick after Hector Alvarez did so against Gallaudet on September 9, 2023.

Arnaud Gerin assisted Ismaeel's third goal, making the freshman the third player in program history to record a hat trick.

Martin Rasiwala scored the Gators' final two goals.
The Gators are 2-3-2 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. They are back in action next Wednesday to host Penn State Brandywine.
