Box Score Baltimore, Md. --  The Notre Dame of Maryland University lacrosse team opened their season today as they faced crosstown rival Goucher College in non-conference action.

Senior Alli Terry (Towson, Md./Catholic) led the Gators, scoring all four goals as the team fell to the host Gophers 15-4.  Terry finished the game with seven shots, followed by sophomore Molly Murray (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen) who finished with five.

Defensively the Gators were led by senior Ebony Rivers (Baltimore, Md./Catonsville) with three caused turnovers.  Sophomore goalkeeper Mary Briggs (Holladay, Utah/Judge Memorial Catholic) ended her day with 15 saves, including 11 in the second half.  

Notre Dame falls to 0-1 on the year and will return to the field Wednesday afternoon to host Wesley College in their home opener.
