Naylor and Peddicord would answer a Cedar Crest goal to give the Gators a 4-0 advantage just over six minutes into the game. The two teams would spend the next 12 minutes exchanging goals, as Frederick, Talbot and Olson would find the net and put the Notre Dame lead at 7-4 with less than 12 minutes remaining in the opening half.
The Gators would end the half on a 5-1 run to give the visitors a 12-5 advantage heading into halftime. Naylor began the rally with 7:57 left which Donadio would continue a minute later by scoring her first of the season and Salim finding the net for the first time of her career with just less than 4 minutes remaining in the half. After Peddicord answered the Falcons goal, Salim would score to end the half.
After a quick goal by hosts opened the half, Butto answered to make it 13-6, but another Cedar Crest goal moved the advantage back to 13-7. Six goals would be the closest the hosts would get as Donadio and Frederick would score to move the lead back to 15-7. After the hosts would score again, a three-goal run by Naylor, Frederick and Butto would move the Notre Dame lead back up to 18-8.
Marx would score her first goal of the year with 1:24 remaining, with Butto adding her fifth of the day with 46 seconds left, and two more CCC goals provided the 20-10 final score.
The Gators are currently 5-4 on the season, 4-3 in CSAC play. By defeating Cedar Crest, Notre Dame is currently the fifth seed in the CSAC Playoffs, and one game ahead of Gwynedd Mercy University. The Gators are also one game back of Immaculata University for the fourth seed, but would need to defeat both Cabrini College and Gwynedd Mercy this next week, and need the Mighty Macs to fall to Marywood University and Cedar Crest to move up in the standings. Since falling to Immaculata, the Mighty Macs hold the tiebreaker over the Gators. Rosemont College is currently two games behind Notre Dame, but would remain behind the Gators in the standings due Notre Dame holding the tiebreak over the Ravens because of the 13-8 Notre Dame victory earlier in the season.
