Box Score 2 BEL AIR, Md. – The Notre Dame of Maryland softball team hosted Colonial States Athletics Conference opponent Cedar Crest Wednesday evening at Harford Community College. The Falcons handed the Gators two conference losses, Notre Dame falling 6-3 and 28-7.
At the plate, freshman
Isa Carunungan paced the Gators with a .625 batting average, with five hits, four RBIs, three runs scored, and a double. Freshman
Sydney Salgado also hit well for the Gators with a .500 batting average with three hits, two RBIs and a run. In the field, freshman
Naudiya Hopkins tallied three putouts, a career-high for her. The team had five players register an RBI and seven players with at least a hit or more.
The Gators have two more conference doubleheaders this week, both on the road. First on Friday, Notre Dame will head to Gwynedd Mercy, then on Saturday the Gators will be at Marywood.
