Box Score 2 SCRANTON, Pa. – Marywood University tallied a pair of wins over Notre Dame Sunday afternoon, claiming 10-1 and 8-0 victories over the Gators. In the first game of the Colonial States Athletic Conference doubelheader, Notre Dame notched their first home run of the season, but solid pitching in the second, handed the Gators their first shut out of the season. Their game today was rescheduled from Saturday after significant rainfall postponed their game.
Freshman
Isa Carunungan led the Gators at the plate recording two hits, including her first career home run in game 1. Carunungan put Notre Dame on the board early, hitting her home run in her first at bat to open the game. Freshman

Morgan Ward,
Margaret Pedersen,
Sydney Salgado, and
Maddie King adding one hit each. Salgado and Carunungan notched the Gators' only extra bags, with Salgado hitting her fifth double of the season. Pitching for Notre Dame, King and Morseman combined for three strikeouts over eight innings pitched.
