Box Score ASTON, Pa. – Notre Dame lacrosse traveled to Neumann University on Tuesday afternoon for their last Colonial States Athletic Conference road game of the 2018 season. The Gators held a 5-4 lead in the first half, but eight unanswered goals to close out the first was too much for NDMU to recover from as they fell, 19-9.
Junior
Megan Morales paced the team with six goals, her sixth game with six or more goals this season. Morales scored five of her six goals in the first half, helping the team take a short lead with 20 minutes left in the first. She continues to lead the conference in goals per game with 5.20 and is ranked sixth nationally.
Senior
Kaitlyn Walter finished the game with two goals and two assists. Junior
Kirstin McGee also posted two assists against the Knights. Walter and McGee combine for 91% of Notre Dame's assists this season. Both Walter and McGee are ranked in the top 10 for assists per game. Senior
Khamaree Owens also posted a goal for NDMU, she now has seven this season.
The Gators will wrap up their 2018 season on Saturday at home against Cedar Crest College. Prior to the start, seniors Khamaree Owens, Lindsey Webb, Kaitlyn Walter, and Brady Wolf will be honored.
