ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Notre Dame track was on the road for their final regular season meet at Elizabethtown College Saturday afternoon. In the windy afternoon, several student-athlete set personal records gearing up for their season finale at the Colonial States Athletic Conference Championship.
In the 100m, sophomore
Taylor Epps qualified for the finals, finishing her first run in 13.20, setting a personal record. In the finals, she placed fourth finishing 13.32.
Freshman
Khandi Harrison and junior
Victoria Latawiec also recorded personal records in the 100m with Harrison finishing in 15.16 and Latawiec in 17.92.
Six runners posted personal records in the 200m. Epps broke her own school record placing sixth in 27.22. Freshman
Kaylah Moses-Santiago placed first in her heat, setting a personal record in 30.00. Freshmen
Destiny Burks,
Brianna Robinson, Harrison, and Latawiec each set personal records.
In her third race of the season, sophomore
Adrianna Fletcher finished 13
th in the 400m, placing first in her heat in 1:11.27 a personal record.
Racing in the 3000m steeplechase for the second time in her career, sophomore
Hannah Campbell bested her time in 19:41.06.
Junior
Christine Roa in the 800m, improved her previous time, finishing in 3:09.13.
Senior
Justice Walrath participated in the Gators' lone field event, the shot put. She crushed her previous mark, finishing third in her heat with an 8.62m throw.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Gators are in the final stretch in their inaugural season. They are a week away from the CSAC Championship, which will be held on May 4 and 5 at Keystone College.
