BALTIMORE, MD – An outstanding performance by Jade Stewart led to her becoming the Colonial States Athletic Conference Player of the Week as the league announced on Monday. The Gators also had two other student- athletes earn CSAC weekly honors including Bethani Newbold and Sarah Generoso.

Stewart helped the Gators go 2-0 in this week's conference matchups posting 17 points on 11 assists and six goals. Stewart leads all of CSAC in assists with 26 on the season. Generoso accumulated nine points, five ground balls, and five draw controls in two starts, to earn a spot on the weekly honor roll. She scored nine goals on only 13 shot attempts.

On the diamond, Newbold went deep for the second time with the bases loaded. She had six hits and five RBIs This puts Newbold in seventh for home runs this season in CSAC.
