BALTIMORE- The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) released its weekly awards on Monday, Mar. 27 with NDMU picking up a pair of honors. Jessie Leatherwood was named CSAC Pitcher of the Week and for the second time this spring, Jade Stewart was named women's lacrosse offensive player of the week. 
 
Leatherwood threw the first perfect game in program history in the team's victory over Christendom College. Leatherwood, who is the program's all-time leader in strikeouts, faced the minimum 15 batters recording 12 strikeouts along the way.  Additionally, Leatherwood had two other put-outs, catching a popup, and throwing out a runner at first base.  Currently, Leatherwood leads the CSAC in strikeouts with 47 strikeouts in 33 innings pitched.
 
Stewart scored six goals and handed out three assists during the team's win 20-0 win over Trinity (D.C.).  Stewart's assists allowed several teammates to record their first career goals.  Currently, Stewart leads the CSAC in goals scored with 27 and is 2^nd in points per game with 4.63 and shots per game with 8.5.
