St Mary's City- The NMDU Cross Country Men's and Women's teams headed south to St. Mary's City to run in the United East Championship meet this past Saturday, Nov. 2. 

The NDMU Women's Cross-Country team had two all-conference runners, Amanda Grant (Second Team), and Arianna Arendt (Third Team). Amanda Grant set the new 6k school record for NDMU with a time of 26:59, crushing the previous record of 27:41. Grant's quickness on the track earned her top finisher for NDMU with a place of 14th place. Arianna Arendt ran her own personal record in the 6k finishing in 30th overall with a time of 30:03. With the combined efforts from the 6 runners for the women's team, NDMU finished 8th out of 13th teams overall.  

The NDMU Men's Cross-Country team was comprised of one runner for this meet. Freshman, Deliam Hill, ran the 8k for NDMU, finishing 95th with a time of 46:25.54.
