BALTIMORE, MD - The Notre Dame of Maryland women's cross country has released their 2025 season schedule as they look to build upon their successful 2024 campaign.
Leading the way for the Gators is Sophomore, Amanda Grant, who finished 14th on the second team at the United East Championships last year. The veterans Jemima Olanrewaju, Francisca Biann, Alyssa Rojas, and Rebecca Coleman all aim towards a successful season with the program. The incoming freshmen Sharon Oginni and Sanai Helms look to add their competitive presence to the team.
"This year's group has already demonstrated a lot of commitment and maturity," said head coach Shamera Willoughby. "Our veterans have set a strong example with their work ethic, and the younger athletes are quickly embracing the culture. The goal is to keep developing consistency and race confidently as we go through the season. If we stay healthy, dedicated, and keep improving, we'll position ourselves well to compete strongly this season."
The Gators will begin their season on September 5th at the WCU Season Opener, followed by the United East Conference Preview on September 12th. They will continue the season at Penn State Abington on September 20th. To finish off the season they will compete in the Highlander Invitational and the Aubrey Shenk Invitational in October.
