Latham, N.Y.- The United East announced its weekly awards on Monday, Mar. 25 with NDMU Softball's Anabelle Hafner winning Skye Division Player of the Week.  

Hafner showcased her abilities in NDMU's sweep of Gallaudet University. She quickly found her rhythm in game one, going 4-5 at the plate with two doubles and a triple driving in an RBI. In addition, Hafner displayed her elite sweep, pulling off a daring steal of home in the fourth inning. She continue rolling in game two of the double header going 2-4, with another double and her first career home run. The home run in the fourth inning was a two-run home run that she belted over the right field fence.  

The Gators will travel to face Penn St. Schuylkill in a doubleheader on Tuesday, Mar. 26. The first pitch is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
