Scranton, PA – College of Notre Dame of Maryland Basketball fell Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Marywood University 81-28 Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers play on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball was too much for the Gators to handle. Notre Dame’s shooters struggled to find their touch throughout the entire game. Not being able to convert many chances from the perimeter, the Gators dumped the ball into their forward on the blocks. The post players were able to draw the foul, earning ten trips to the foul line.
The Gators impressed at the foul line, making 78.9% of their attempts. India Scott went twelve for fourteen from the foul line. Senior Ebony Rivers hit three of her four attempts. Scott led all Notre Dame scorers with 19 points. Rivers finished with five points, while Catherine Subrizi contributed four points. Cory Santos had a team high seven rebounds.
Notre Dame returns to action this weekend at the Blue Angel Invitational at College of New Rochelle, New York.
