Swimming falls to Goucher

Notre Dame of Maryland is now 2-1 in 2011.

Baltimore, Md. - November 30, 2011
- The Notre Dame of Maryland swim team fell to local rival Goucher College in LeClerc Pool by a score of 57-37.

The Gophers raise their record to 2-6, while Notre Dame dropped its first dual meet of the season to move to 2-1 on the year.

Junior Shannon Berry (Pasadena/Baltimore Catholic) finished first in the 100 backstroke (1:03.04) and second in the 1000 free (12:13.15) while freshman Jessi Duffy (Bel Air/C. Milton Wright) finished in second place in the 200 freestyle (2:06.28) and the 100 butterfly (1:09.35).

The Gators travel to Brooklyn Technical High School on Saturday, December 3 for a 3:00 p.m. meet with St. Joseph's Brooklyn.
